Department: Mechanical Engineering
A simulator with gaming attributes is being developed for the EP/ME 566 course on Cryogenics. While the Phase II activities defined the educational content and game flow structure, additional progress is required in the form of functional operation and graphics to produce a playable prototype. The Cryogenics game will replace mathematically intensive homework assignments and provide the content for in-class discussions and assessments regarding cryogenic design. Opportunities for developing engineering expertise in cryogenics that have been previously constrained by time, budget, and complexity will be enabled and exploited by this new game.
