Why eTEACH?

  • Helps you provide access for students to relevant files or weblinks during the eTEACH lecture, or to any documents - spreadsheets, word documents, lecture transcripts
  • Helps students 1) prep before class, so they can come to class prepared to do work or discuss topics, 2) review after class
  • Provides practice quizzes for students' self-check of understanding
  • May be used as part of an online class

To Use eTEACH

The eTEACH authoring tool is a server-based application. User accounts and working spaces are available to University of Wisconsin System campuses.

Getting Started:

  1. Create a login account, through the eTEACH website - http://eteach.doit.wisc.edu/
  2. The next screen will direct you to create a new account (username, password, email, etc.)
  3. Send an email to eteach-support@lists.wisc.edu requesting a space for you to work in. This could be intended for a particular course, or a practice area test space.
